Moxy The Hague 1 year anniversary

The first birthday of Moxy The Hague was celebrated with balloon arches, bubbles and delicious snacks. The start-up problems have now been resolved and we can now look to the future with our heads held high. “It’s great that we’ve been open for a year, things are now running smoothly,” says Remco van der Jagt, general manager of Moxy The Hague.

The hotel on Wijnhaven in The Hague was purchased in the aftermath of the corona pandemic, after which a lot of work was done to completely renovate the hotel in the Moxy style. The result is a beautiful modern hotel, with stylish and playful characters. It was still quiet in the low season, but the company has been running well since the summer, to Van der Jagt’s satisfaction.

“There will be plenty to do next year,” says Van der Jagt. “We are busy with the municipality of The Hague to properly integrate the entrance with the rest of the hotel.” He also has a vision for the future: “Guests now know where to find us, but next year we also want to be a meeting place for the neighborhood. Local residents can then come for a meeting or have a drink without having to reserve a room.”
